I had the actual DX7 (who didn't who was a pro at the time, I suppose, I wasn't), with the debated keyboard, and I loved it because it was sensitive and playable for most types of sound, a sentiment often not shared by others.Īs to make a little clear what I like ROM-wise compared with not-so-great software:Īnyhow, I had these additional sounds from a club at the time, I made some sounds, and got nice sounds, and I had a number of commercially bought sounds, which I could pick individually from a cassette tape with exemplified use of the patches, and they were good. I know, I know, there are about half a million of them on the internet, well about 10,000 last time I took a look, but they're not the sounds I'd like to put in some emulation software. ![]()
